Proprietor since 2004, Jasmine has brought new energy to the Manoir through her experience and expertise. She shares management duties with David, who is versatile, service-oriented and always ready with a smile.
Sophie
With her youthful talent, Sophie is part of the next generation of chefs. Welcome to her kitchen! A graduate of professional cooking (2011) and market cuisine (2012) programs, Sophie completed her training with the highest standing before donning her whites at the Manoir Bécancourt in 2014.
Her flair for subtlety and putting fine, delicate touches on culinary classics has taken the dining experience at the Manoir to new heights. Her signature dishes are renowned for their unique flavours. She describes her menu as French with major Italian influences. On the side of the kitchen pass-through, she is always working… and ready with a mischievous grin. With help from her talented team, she serves up truly memorable meals.
From homemade pasta to risotto, from homemade ice cream to our famous tableside châteaubriand flambé, your taste buds will rejoice!
Kitchen team
Chrystian is really passionate, the busier he is the more he’s enjoying himself, but beware all his meat is cooked to perfection. We though of changing his name to BBQ Pitmaster
Gabrielle is a young woman, she is strong and she is a very hard worker. Her good mood is contagious. She is a great work collegue. Her attention to detail is quite remarkable.

Chloé is our natural beauty. Young and dynamic she is always ready to help, she is our ray of sunshine. There is one thing we are still wondering : can she be in a bad mood?
Etienne is the prodigal son of the Manoir. A young man with multiple talents, he is a hard worker and he is very professional. As he has been with us for a long time he quickly understood the meaning of being truly diligent in all aspects of his work.

The Manoir Bécancourt is one of the top 25 small hotels in Canada. In 2016, it was awarded the Travellers’ Choice distinction from TripAdvisor.
The history of the Manoir reaches back before World War I. In 1912, the notary Achille A. Leduc ordered the building’s construction for him and his soon-to-be wife. The couple went on to raise eight children there.
After serving as a family home for nearly seven decades, this majestic abode was given new life in 1983 when it was acquired by Yvon Beaulieu and Clairette Biron, two food lovers already renowned for their famous dinner shows featuring a French-inspired menu. They had a clear vision for the property: to open an upscale restaurant in the town of Bécancour. They achieved this with the launch of the Manoir Bécancourt – spelled with a “t” to pay tribute to the original spelling of the municipality when it was founded in 1965.
The Manoir entered a new era in 2004 when Jasmine Hébert, a graduate of the hotel management program at Collège Mérici in Québec with extensive work experience in Europe, took over the business from her parents. With her experience and passion, she took the Manoir to the next level. Today, the Manoir offers its guests a country ambiance, 9 unique rooms, a restaurant well worth the visit and a range of quality services. Jasmine is also a trained sommelier and pleased to assist with choosing the perfect wine from the Manoir cellar to go with your meal.
